Does it give me some extra power since it's light weight?

well the reason for having the HKS timing belt is security of knowing you have a higher strength belt than stock so it wont wear as easily. So you dont really have any power gains from that.

The cam gears you can defintly gain power from them, but it has nothing to do with the lightness. What you want to do is either retard or advance your timing. On stock cams im not exactly sure how much though.

EDIT: Just did a quick research on it. The most you might see is about 10hp from it but cam gears are mostly change the power band, not necessarily increase power. The most improvement with them will come if you actually added upgraded cams

cam gears aren't really a great first upgrade, but they should work just fine on your stock 3S. just make sure whoever installs them knows what they're doing.

i think there is plenty of money better spent elsewhere this early on. does your car have any other mods?

i just replied to your PM, but either PA Auto Racing or Chico Race Works should be able to get you a good engine and transmission for your car.
