Side air intake removal ?

Hello everyone. I am thinking of buying a pair of veilside side skirts. They are the type that change the twin air intake vents on the side of the car into single vents. The question is, do I need to remove the thin black plastic strip above the vent to remove it, or will the vent 'pull off' without having to remove the strip?
Thanks for your time. Terry

You will have to remove it. There is a small screw on the end. A 10mm nut in the wheel well. And another 10mm nut that you access through the inside of the car. This requires taking your rear side interior panels off.... there is a small circle cut out in the metal to access this nut. Be careful not to drop it. This will require deep sockets as well.

Side skirts.

Thanks Piddy for the advice. Can I also just ask, another quick question?!
I currently own a J reg Glimited import. Can I ask what the difference was between the 'normal' MR2 and the Glimited model?
Thanks again for your time.
Terry.

G-Limited is the Non-US version of the NA 3SGE powered MR2's. I'm not sure what the difference is between the G-Limited and a standard NA.
