lag or problems??

k new to turbo and how things work but everything worked fine till just last week....1st gear went fine right when i shift to 2nd gear after around 5000 rpm it starts to hesitate for a bit than kicks back in....is that turbo lag or something up? what can i do to fix it? i got a upgraded ct26, greddy intercooler, greddy bov, apexi intake, and apexi exhaust

Is your bov venting metered air? This causes an overly rich condition as well as a misfire(since o2s sees a lot of o2, but not hc, it'll send a lean condition signal to the pcm).
So, check your plug gaps, hell just do a tune up. Your more likely to misfire under boost if your plug gaps are too big. And lag is only on 1st gear. If you got lag beyond that, it means your in the wrong gear and shifting too early.

we changed spark plugs and wires clean the fuel filter and injectors no more hesitation thx

I install new TOYOTA cap, rotor and wires once a year.
I use the NGK copper plugs and swap them every 3000 miles or so.

Your BOV is robbing performance as well. There is no benefit to an aftermarket BOV on the MR2.
