No specific kits that I know of, the swap will take alot of custom work and fabrication, definetly not worth the amount of time and money it'll take to get it running. If you'd like to stay away from the gas mileage of a 3sgte, look into the later generation 3sge which came in the 2nd gen mr2 in japan. 2.0l n/a with a decent power output.

That engine wouldn't have enough torque to move the MKII body around. Have you considered a 1mz-fe (Camry V6)? Lighter, better economy and has been done quite a few times.

what kind of gas milage are you looking for? the 3sgte already gets like 26 or something and the 5sfe gets like 28 seriously and dont say the 5sfe isnt fast enough or things like that... its plenty fast and has enough torque

well the 5sfe doesn't have any torque at all, at least the one i tried doesn't, my v6 firebird that weighs about 1000 more, moves almost twice as fast... i like the 3rd gen 3gse, but is it an almost direct bolt on???
