Talking My '93 MR2

I bought the Mr2 in January drove it round for a week and then had what i thought was an electrical problem, turns out to be a broken relay that took us 2 and a half weeks to find. So by the time i get that fixed its been a month time to get it licensed, or not. The guy i got is from hasnt sent me the title yet. When i was picking up the car he told me that in Kansas you have to send for a paper title because they dont actually give you a physical one when you buy the car. He told me that it would take 3 to 8 weeks to get the title from the state. So after the month is up i call me and ask about the title, he tell me that he hasn't got it yet but he will send another bill of sale so i can still drive the mr2. That didnt sound to bad so i agreed and 10 days later no bill of sale. So i call him again, and by this now im getting VERY tired of this bullshit and he says that he will send another bill of sale. Well while i am waiting for it to come my mom and i do some checking and find out from the kansas DMV that it usually only takes 7-10 days to receive a title after sending for it. So now he has a letter from my lawyer to persuade if for get the title. so here i sit now with 3 more months worth of bill of sales, waiting...

On the good side the car has 108k miles on the body and only 2.5k miles on the motor which is most stock from what i know about it. the only details i know are that that block has been decked and think it has forged rods and pistons. the guy i bought the car from told me that that it should keep up with the 3sgte... yea right. The guy that told me this took of the aftermarket ignition and put on oem ignition because he wanted a reliable car for driving round town, but he didnt have an airfilter on the intake. And he wanted reliability? the paint on the car is just under a year old so it looks pretty good. It has the door panels and engine lid off of a 91 turbo and 17in Konig Monsoon rims. It also has headers and a magnaflow dual exhaust (with no cat).

Nice paint job! I take it you were inspired by the IS430 concept?

Actually the car was painted that way when i bought it, and unfortunately they used cheap paint and in spots sprayed the clear coat on too heavy. but i have contacts with a very good auto body mech and can have all this fixed for free. And MR2BAD and Przemik2008 thanks for the photography complements.
