hey i was just wondering has anyone raced a carrado? One of my friends has a 16v turbo running at 10 psi.....my 92 mr has an intake exhaust boost raised to 15 psi tunned.... who would win?
the corrado is a VW coupe thats pretty cool looking, but i'm not too sure of how well it performs, all i know is that it has a V6, so maybe not so good for our beloved mr2

Way too vague a question. First off, no corrado came turbocharged, so there is some obvious aftermarket work done to the corrado. None of us have any idea how well the work was done or how it is tuned. Second, we don't know the drivers. More is determined by how well a person can drive a car than how much hp a car puts down.
If you ask me, both of you should get to the track and settle it. That's the only way to know. And stay away from posting car vs. car threads. It only encourages the idea of street racing, which is a big no-no!

Well said. and thanks for the reminder to all about talking about street racing here.
i know obviously i dont race in the street were actually going to the track soon as the weather permits....i was just curious ...the corrado is actually a swap of a 2L16v motor turbo charged .....
hey guys, maybe i can shed some light. i actually have a corrado, a g60 to be exact, which is a 1.8l s/c inline 4. Corrado's came one of two ways. My way, or a 2.8L vr6. they are pretty quick. But it being a 16v turbo, its either the g60 block with the 16v conversion, which are quick. or it would more likely be the 2.0L aba bottom end from mk3 jettas and golfs, which are very quick.
