Honestly if your a halfway decent driver you should easily pull into the 13's with your car. And if hes a decent driver he MIGHT be able to. So all in all i think youll beat him

its all about road courses, and with two very skilled similar racing experience.....the MR2 driver would dominate a Evo, turn for turn, strait for strait. I only say this because Evo's are AWD and have more rotational mass, and have to slow more to corner properly, they cannot transfer thier weight as nicely either as a properly balanced MR can.... weight shift FTW.

Your MR2 Turbo if runny good and with those mods can keep up with an stock EVO. The stock internals of the 3S can go up to powers of 500 HP just like the stock internals of the EVO.

You'll never know what you as car/driver are capable of until you actually get out there and do it. There are so many variables on a track. It's not as simple as waiting for the light, and mashing the gas pedal as hard as you can.

Make sure your car is running properly and it's up on maintenance. Go to the track and try your best, and pay attention to changes you make and what effects they have on your times. Then, come back here and report back to us.

And for goodness sake, why the upgraded turbo and intercooler with stock exhaust?
