Fuel Cut Problem

I have a 91 MR2 turbo w/ a TD06 turbo upgrade. Okay, so I just got a new Wideband A/F meter in and there is a wierd problem going on with the fuel cut. Common sense tells us that when we are on the gas the car should be richer when you are not on the gas. Not so in my case. Here's an example.... I am running at around 14.3 when i am just normally driving around, now when i let off the gas the A/F ratio starts getting richer...like around 13's. Now I think it has something to do with the ems (standalone), but maybe there is something that I am not catching. Any thoughts....

I'm confused. What does this have to do with fuel cut?

If you have a stand-alone ems, then that is controlling your a/f ratio. I would definitely start there first.

Sounds like your fuel pressure is too high. If so, the mix would be richer at lower RPM's and at idle.

I am using the SDR EMS, the predecessor of the Hydra Nemesis.

I am in the process of retuning right now. I did not think about the fuel pressure being to high. Thanks.
