Electronic boost controllers

whats up guys... i did a nice highway pull in third gear tonight...60-120 mph within one exit to another...well, that brings me to my question... i have a blitz single sbc, and its not manual its electronic. But in third gear when i punched it always set it at 1.2 bar, by the time i went close to redline or even close to 6k rpm the boost dropped to 1 bar, if i buy another boost controller like a sbc dual or a hks evc IV or even a avcr will it help to close the wastegate more when it feels boost is dropping so i can stay consistantly at 1.2 bar, or is my turbo just lagging that technology...thanks for the help guys

1.2 bar on a stock CT26? a tad high isn't it...

anyways, that is the design of the stock turbine. It can't flow enough air at higher RPMs so boost drops off. It was built for drivability not top end power production.

Im running 1.2 bar on the stock ct-26. It drops to about 1 bar after 6000rpm too. Thats normal, and Im running a blitz dsbc.

1.2bar is approx 17psi. sunoco 94 octane, water injection, and one step colder plugs. 17psi doesnt sound too high to me.

its a very good turbo. Bolts right up to your stock manifold, and uses your stock downpipe. Maxes out at around 290rwhp. You should see mid 200's easily with a boost controller and simple bolt ons. They sell for approx 700USD for a low mileage turbo in good shape.

In comparison to the ct26 is the ct20b a top performer? Does anyone have like flow charts that prove this because my goal is to hit high 12's on stock turbo, and i'm pretty sure the ct20b can do it with some nice cooling methods for that compressed air. I was just wondering if anyone used to have a ct26 and changed to the ct20b and felt the results... One more question guys, the new stuff they got for intercoolers, the nx express intercooler sprayer, have you guys tried it. I know nitrous gets really cold i used it on some cars, but would it make the intake temp too cold for a turbo car??? And does it add any hp to our cars??? Thanks for the help guys...Really appreciate it.

well i actually wanted to hit it on the ct20b, and i have a boost controller and intercooler upgrade..i might just slap on that intercooler nitrous system and pump this puppy into the 12's. And about the driving i think i'm pretty damn good i do some nice 1.9 60 ft times with stock street tires. As long as i know i can gain some power with the ct20b then i'll go ahead and buy it and shoot for 12's....
