air fuel problem

I just finished a custom turbo setup on my 89 big port mr2. I have supercharged mr2 injectors, a 16g dsm turbo and a custum intercooler and exhaust. When I started it up for the first time it runs so rich it will barley stay running... It has no leaks in the intercooler piping, and I dont think the injectors alone would make it that rich. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like you need tuning via some type of engine management system. How are you managing injector duty? Are you sure it's rich and not lean?

^^that is your problem right there...stock ECU doesn't know how to correct for all the added fuel...a SAFC won't solve your problem either.....how will you control timing??....do it right the first time and it will save you money and problems in the long run...

I'm not to sure, but what about trying using the Supercharge MR2 ECU instead.

Get yourself a decent engine management system, and do it right the first time. It will hit a little hard in the wallet at first, but will save you money on extra strength tylenol in the long run.
