Gen1 Front Right Vibration

Dad and a friend tell me it could be wheel balancing, and another friend says it could be suspension.

Basically between 50-60 mph there is a really bad and loud vibration on the front right wheel, that also makes the steering shake. Anything under or over that speed is ok. Also theres a bit more noise on bumps, but nothing too violent. Any suggestions/ideas?

I'm going with what your dad said. I had the same issue with one my rear tires, and after a balance it was all good.

Given the speed at which it occurs, I would say balancing too. Get it done. It doesn't cost that much and it will illiminate that possibility.

I would check balancing first. Cheapest and easiest. Next I'd check tie rod ends. Grab a hold of them and give em a shake. If they are loose, that could be your problem. Then I'd check ball joints.

Gen1

yea i'm not very mechanically inclined, especially when it comes to suspension, i know next to nothing. I'm taking it to the mechanic tomorrow for inspection and a general once-over. He'll probably find the problem.
