I know the Supra injectors are a direct fit.
What year Supra has these?
And what about the wiring? Do the stock 3sgte connectors fit?
And what about impedence? Are they the same?
Are the Supra injectors top feed or side feed?
Yes... they are a direct fit. They came on the MKIV (93.5+) Turbo Supra's. They are side feed just like your stock injectors. All of the plugs will work.
I know you know this.... but I'm gonna say it for anyone that may be reading and not be the wiser. If you are upgrading your injectors make sure you have the necessary things to control the added fuel. Minimum would be an AFPR and SAFC (Pull fuel with the regulator and add with the SAFC). I would recommend: New pump, AFPR, fuel rail and something to control the electronics (HKS VPC or better).
OK, I'm confused now. My '91 3sgte have the electrical connectors on top. I thought the fuel came thru the rail and into the injectors from the sides? I know they are 440's.
So what gen/engine model Supra injectors fit the 3sgte?
plug and play..i had 550s in my car until they blew up my motor...lol...vpc + 550s did not work so well with my old setup.....do it right the first time.....always better to have more fuel and run less boost than to run crazy boost and max out your fuel system.....
IMO if you are needing the 550's then most likely you need a better fuel rail as well because the stock rails suck. Your best bet is to get a bored side feed fuel rail. ATS racing will do it for only $75 with a $100 core charge
^ yeah, I'm considering going with the CT27, fuel rail, 550's, ATS tuned rom, Berk IC,
3"down pipe and the 264 Cams like you're getting. I want to stay close to stock .
Go bigger... you won't regret it. GT28 is a really nice option if you are shooting for power in the 300whp range. If you want a bit more down the road.... GT30 or TD06.
I felt like my car was being pushed to the max when I was running the CT27.
