head swap on a 5sfe???

i was wondering if you could put a 3sge or a 3sgte head on a 5sfe? and if so what do you think would be the out come.

You can use the 3sgte head with cams and built a potent engine that way. But the 5sfe block does not have the ports to run water to the 3sgte head. I believe you can use the 3sgte head gasket as a template and drill the holes to access the water from the block. Do some research for details. But it's already been done. I've been thinking of getting my hands on a N/A and going this route.
I'm not familiar with the 3sge head.

I belive teh 3SGE head is the same as the 3SGTE head, its just the internals are different.

ok ill look into that. but isnt the head on a 5fse a double over head cam with a gear drive going to the intake gear? so if im right what timeing bealt would i use? and would there be more of a chance of over heating??

No, They're both belt driven twin cams. You would also have to swap out the crankshaft gear and cam gears from the 3sgte. You would use the 3sgte timing belt
