its about time too... cause i'm tired of driving a run down 88' S10...
91 JDM 5SFE i got w/ 30k miles w/ new timing belt, water pump, and oil seals for about 1,000.00. its a fully sealed long block. Just missing the accessories.
i was able to finish off almost all the body work to completely mold off my F335 Body kit during the wait.
its been sooooo long tho, i can't find some key bolts. and i bagged and tagged everything. so a trip to the dealer. 36.00 later in bolts and nuts
also along w/ the install i'm going w/ a new XTD stage 2 clutch... i got a boy in performance warehousing... i got it cheaper than stock from anywhere. The clutch will be here tomorrow.
along w/ tanabe front and rear sways and adjustable end links. that completes my suspension mods. i have adjustable everything now. which is useless really since i moved out of southern cali and no longer do canyon runs... and i live in southern connecticut now and there is no where to really let the duece open up.
i never thought i'd be so happy to drop another 5sfe in my car...
but hey that 4k i had saved for the swap makes a nice down payment on a new Yamaha R1
if everything goes as planned. i should be firing up the only second gen MR2 in my city sometime this weekend.
