Intro and 1987 MR2 question

Hi my name is John and I recently tore into a 1987 MR2 to set up for autocross. I have one question ya'll may be able to help me out with: will an exhaust manifold from a 1988 or 1989 MR2 fit the head on a 1987 MR2? Thanks a lot,
-John

I will assume the question applies to normally aspirated (N/A) engines ... yes it will fit ... if the egr tube is different, it will be an obvious difference ... if the engine the manifold comes from is available, that tube can be swapped over from the donor ... regards ... Ken
