mr2 turbo intake please help

hi I bought the kn intake but it is a little bit biger then the intakes for mr2's that I saw. Would it be save without any problem with my ct 20 turbo with this big intake or it doesn't matter? please help thanx.

Which engine do you have? If you have a 3rd gen you will have a different intake because there is no AFM. If you are buying a generic filter and worried about size.... just know there is a lot of spare room in there.... with some slight modification you can fit a pretty big filter in there.

PS: That pic is not an MR2 specific intake.

I'm putting 94+ engine , my 93 engine had this afm box but 94 don't right? so it's gona be ok right?

one more thing....

does anyone have picture of greedy intercooler installed? the litlle one that replace stock one please...? thank You.

The '94 usdm is a 2nd gen and still has the afm. If it's a jdm '94, it's a 3rd gen and uses map sensor instead of the afm.

So you gotta find out if you got 2nd or 3rd gen 3sgte.

94 Jdm where is map sensor and where do i connect it?

3rd gen map sensor sits on the rear firewall, in the same place as the 2nd gen boost sensor. It has a vacuum hose attached to the bottom that runs to the top of the intake manifold.
