stock rods or eagles???

im looking at buying new rods for my 91t rebuild and i cant decide on either stocks or eagles. i'v seen the eagle rods for around $350 but i havnt priced stock rods yet. i assume they would be about $150-200. my power goal is prolly about 300whp. im using a td06 but stock cams and stock fuel system. any opinions????

Stocks are good to about 400hp. I guess price would be the deciding factor. If the Eagles are close to stock price I would go with them. You know how pricey OEM can be. But I don't know how much they are.
But at your hp target range, stock will be fine.

stock fuel system isnt going to get you to 300whp. They max out at around 280 and that is a MAX. stock internals are fine though for that. For 300 youll need supra injectors, fuel pump, and a ROM tune and that should get you there pretty safely.

As The Engineer stated above-NO. You will need to upgrade fuel rail, FPR, injectors (at least 550's) and fuel pump. Also some way to regulate A/F ratio
