Electrical/charging problems please help!

I have a 1991 mr2 with a 1993 3sgte motor, i lost all charging the other day and swapped the alt out now i still cant charge the batt and all of my dash gauges are in op along with the back light, i cant find a blown fuse and im lost and about ready to deal with the dealership but i wanted to get anybody elses ideas before i spent that kinda money. any ideas?

I'd check all your wire connections first. Especially your battery terminals. Make sure they are clean and making good contacts. Also, check your grounds and your alternator terminals.

Just to start anyways.

thanks for the advise, i swapped batts with my buddies car that we were jumping the duece from and it worked fine under load and recharged like a champ. so i went and got a yellow top to solve that problem.
