Difficulty of replacing a rod bearing.

Hey everyone, I've rebuilt an engine before and know how to replace a rod bearing, but here's my question. How hard is it to replace a rod bearing on a mark 1 mr2? I don't know how the engine sits in the rear so I'm not sure what all will have to be removed to acces the oil pan. Is it harder than just taking off the cross members, oil pan and then removing the rod bolts? I've done this on a fwd car before so I know what I'm doing. Any input would be great.

hey we have the Toyota MR2 shop manual that you can use to fix the rod bearing...i think all you have to do is take off the oil pan and its right there on the bottom...but anyhow you can borrow the shop manual to get the job done on the spot if that helps out at all

good luck,
Keri
