chips for mr2

I heard when u get performance chips you get alot of hp, this true? If it is true I found quit a few on ebay for realllll cheap

i've never heard of any chips for mr2's except for UNICHIP...but i believe that is a complete ecu upgrade...even with those...from my experience they are a waste of money....for under 300rwhp..which is sufficient power for 90% of owners out there...the stock ecu will do.....anything above that...ur best route is to go with a stand alone EMS...by the time u calculate how much all the "lil black boxes" cost added up will be around the same as going stand alone....if i didnt already have the vpc in my car when i bought it..i would have gone with an ems unit instead....
