a/c fluid for 91 mr2 n/a

ok so summer is coming and its been extremely hot these last days and my air conditioner doesn't work. the previous owner had told me that all it needed was a/c fluid and it was good to go.
now my question is where do i put it in? where is it located at?
im a new mr2 owner so im not really familiar to where everything is at.
any help would be gladly appreciated.

You've probably have a leak somewhere. I'd try to find it. Freon is not cheap and it could end up leaking out in no time! There is a florecent dye you can run thru the system that when exposed to Blacklight, will glow and reveal the leak.
Access to fill A/C system is in the Frunk(front trunk). Use the low pressure side to fill. You can get the specific details from the BGB in the sticky on the 1st page of this forum.
You can get a kit to do this from Wal Mart for alittle less that $30.00 includes freon, hoses with connectors and pressure gauge.

you want to be careful if you have air on the system then that also obviously means that your a/c compressor is probably rusted up depending on how long you had air in the system. Does your a/c clutch kick on at all when you hit the a/c button?
