tune up

i just have one question, so i did my tune up spark plugs,wires ,distributor rotor but heres the problem i had bought oem from toyota distributor cap but since my car is from japan it doesnt fit ...my question is do i really need to change the distributor cap? and if so does anyone know where i can get one that would fit on my car, its 2nd gen mr turbo

If your old cap is still in decent condition, you can use it until you locate a JDM cap. Check the contact points inside the cap and see if they're pitted.You can clean them up alittle bit and get more life out of it. But they should be changed at regular intervals.
As far as where to get a JDM cap, don't know...

If you have a 2nd gen motor you need to specify 93+ on any engine parts that you purchase.

The caps are the same for the USDM and JDM, just make sure you mention get the correct years. Like what Piddy said.
