Mr2 94+ Turbo problem , please help

Hi I just did a swap from 93 USDM to 94 + JDM Everything was runing great I was boosting 18 so I changed the pressure on my manual boost control to 15psi. I was runing it for 1 week and today was very humid and I realized my turbo doesnt sound the same... I accelerate pretty quick on the highway up to 4 or 5 thousand rpms and something happened...I don't have pressure to release and the turbo does not spools up. It felt like fuel cut but I don't think it is because I unpluged the battery and plug it back after 10 minutes and It's still no pressure no BOV sound nothing. The boost gauge doesn't go over 0 if I accelerate. I checked turbo and it's not broken... What is it? maybe sensor pressure? should I restart my computer maybe? How do I do that? Please help. Anything would be very helpfull Thank You for Your time.

if you aren't getting any check eng lights don't need to re-set ecu....are u sure its not fuel cut you're hitting...are u using an aftermarket boost gauge??...does it sound like any exhaust leak??...what condition are your ignition components??

yes aftermarket boost gauge.

I had before on other engine during cold winter fuel cut if boosting over 15 psi and I restart battery and was fine. On this one don't work and don't think it's fuel cut.

The exhaust checked no leaks and using aluminium flange kit and it's tight.

ignition rotor checked and put brand new with all wires.

The acceleration is poor because no pressure. I feels like it's accelerating like it would have maybe 150 horse power. It doesn't give much fuel because turbo do not spool over 0 psi... that's why... In my opinion.

Maybe other side of turbo wheel is broken? I checked all hoses from intercooler and it's ok... hmmm

I'm taking it on thursday to Supra and Mr2 Specialist to take a look and do dyno too .

just making sure. I wasn't sure if you were trying to say that it felt like the car was boosting but no pressure was evident in the gauge or bpv.

It sounds like your turbo is f*cked. I would take the turbo off and inspect it.

I thought about it at first place but I checked from the intake side and the wheel is ceramic and is not shatered and doesn't move, but didn't check the wheel from other side. Maybe it is fucked... I was boosting only 15 psi for a week so why would it brake? I didn't hear any explosion , It felt like fuel cut . No pressure .... I meant it spools on my boost gauge from -12 to 0 and doesn't go over 0 even on high rpms (3,4,5000) ... Why would ct 20 break? Because the spool wheels are ceramic and not that reliable? if I boost only 15 psi with upgrades?:

Aluminium flywheel f1 racing clutch kit (1st and 2nd gear it feels like It accelerate like a bike when the turbo was working...)
kn intake
HKS timing belt and cam gears
3" downpipe and Apex N1 Exhaust
Blitz Super sound BOV
manuel boost controler
Side Mount Greedy Intercooler
New rotor and cap ...

If... the turbo is fucked... What kind of reliable turbo would you recomend for that stock fuel pump of 93USDm Turbo engine? Don't forget I got 94+JDM but fuel pump is from 93 T USDM. Would TD06 would be fine? If Yes give me details please. How much boost on my stock engine would be save. Is it ceramic wheel or metal? Tell me everything please. I would like to learn and share my knowledge with other people that need help.

Thank You for your time.

Sounds like a boost leak. Check all of your clamps and couplers between your turbocharger and your throttle body. Do you have a REAL Greddy Intercooler or an eBay (Chinese) Greddy STYLE intercooler? A lot of the eBay ones comes with really crappy clamps/couplers.

It could be a boost leak after the turbo, Piddy could be right. There is an inexpensive tool that you can use to check. Its an adapter that clamps on the turbo, and you pressurize it with a regular air compressor.

It could have been lack of oil, or it could have overheated. I believe they are liquid cooled? You said it is not shattered and doesn't move, well if it doesn't move thats definitely not good.
