how can you tell what gen 3sgte you have?

the engine is a 3sgte out of a 91 T mr2. is this already a 3rd gen 3sgte motor?

Im looking to buy this C-one turbo manifold (link below) but i want to kno if it will fit on the engine i mentioned above.

The 91' MR2 Turbo motor is a GenII..
.the 1st gen is 87-89 Celica Alltrac,
2nd Gen is 90-93 AllTrac and 91-95 MR2T,
and 3rd gen is 96-99 MR2T and 94+ Celica GT-Four.

Im not sure about the MR2's but for the most part these are the cars the different generations came in. The main difference in the generations is the cylinder heads...

The thing about the tubualar manifold is that its got a flange for a GenIII and the bolt patterns dont match up from the different gens....1400bucks is way to high anyway.....if you go to a performance shop or machine shop they should be able to duplicate the design and customize it for a genII for about 300-400bucks and it will be just as good but not as pretty..
