Auto Gearbox Problem

Hey i own a 90 Mr2 SW20 Gen 1 and im having problem's with the gearbox, it's the A241e Auto. When you Select drive it will go into gear and roll foward under it's own power (as auto do) but when you touch the throttle it just rev's, i have reverse amazingly, Does Anybody Have any idea what is wrong cause it's Freaking Annoying, Thanks

possible problems might include: (according to the service manual)

- Shift cable out of adjustment
- valve body or primary regulator faulty
- parking lock pawl faulty
- oil strainer intake clogged
- converter faulty
- broken converter drive plate
