no start seems no fuel

parked 92 mr2 turbo for three weeks battery went dead so charged battery and tried to start car first time started no problems then left for ten minutes tried again notthing the engine is turning and from time to time it almost starts but still wont kick in
would i be right to presume its some sort of fuel problem seems as if no fuel getting to it ?
if so how and where do i check to see is the fuel pump working or to check to see is fuel coming to the engine.
i remember in an old diesel car doing this before pulling off some pipe to see is fuel coming to engine but unsure what pipe to take off on 2 to check this
any help appreciated
also tank is half full so that not a problem and alarm immobiliser seems to be working okay

You can disconnect fuel return line and see if fuel is getting thru fuel rail . It's the rubber hose after the FPR.

Thats "FPR" (Fuel Pressure Regulator) not fdr. There is a sticky with an Online Manual on the 1st page of this forum for your convenience. Disconnect the ignitor wire to the distributor , then the return fuel line as a i suggested above, then turn the engine over and see if fuel exits the line. You can use a container of some type to catch the fuel and prevent it from spilling all over the place.
Are you sure your problem is fuel.? When the last time you tuned it up?(Cap, rotor, spark plugs, plug wires)
