6 months down time... lots of pics...

here are some updates on the new mr2 project i just got after my neighbor rear ended my first one... here is a whole crap load of pictures for a 6 month down time...

here is the replacement car when i first got it now the fun begins for 6 months...

here i didnt take any pictures of dropping the motor but here is the stripped engine bay and it painted...




here are the pictures of the completely rebuilt motor with a built bottom end and rebuild head... no mods to the head for now... bottom end has forged pistons and eagle rods... just in case anyone asks why the block surface looks like that its because it still has oil on it while i waited for the head... i didnt want it to rust =)



and here is the motor in the bay... the wire tuck is pretty much done just needs to be all plugged in...

sweet. Saw this on mr2oc. Very nice job. Im in the process of rebuilding mine, but i didnt take the time to clean it up like you did. I dont think you posted the TMIC setup on there though. That setup is amazing. Usually i just see them mounted on the bottom and cutout down underneath.
