1st of all, Welcome to Toyota Nation.
Boost gauge, oil pressure and ammeter are the most impotant in my opinion. Are you using a boost controller of some type?
Excessive boosting could be wastegate not opening properly, exhaust leak or boost controller not set properly.
Also, please use lower case when posting.

Most important: Boost.

After that: Wideband, oil pressure, EGT, oil temp.

That engine code is probably due to hitting fuel cut. Try clearing the codes and testing again. To clear the codes, reset the ECU.

Unless your running a boost controller or increasing your boost in anyway I would say oil pressure is most important. True overboosting is important to watch but if your car is stock I would say oil pressure is most important. My list would go like this:

1. Boost or oil pressure (depending if your car is stock or not)
2. The other #1
3. Oil Temp
4. EGT
5. Water Temp
6. Wideband O2

But it also depends on how you use your car I do a lot of autocrosses and starting to do Trackdays so the temp gauges are more important to me. For an everyday street MR2 I would say get the basics Boost, Oil press, and EGT. What mods do you have perhaps that would be more helpful.

By "rad cap" do you mean Radiator cap? I really hope not unless it's a full manual one, and in that case you REALLY need a boost gauge to see what you are boosting at. You could be somewhere near 20psi and ruining the motor without knowing it.

There is no radiator cap on the radiators of the 2nd gens. Do you mean the filler cap in the engine bay on the drivers side?

Just because it's not ON the radiator doesn't mean that it's not a radiator cap.

And an ammeter is like the stock Volt meter (battery gauge, don't think the turbo one's have one) but it measures amps rather than volts. On a stock street car about all it does is tell you if your battery is dead or not.

Wide band is basically an Air/Fuel ratio gauge. It tells whether or not it is running lean (not enough fuel) or rich (too much fuel). Both are bad but it is better to run slightly rich rather than lean.
