ok, with an unbiased opinion, what are the bad things about MR2s?

- bitch to work on
- parts are expensive/rare
- car is useless for anything other than "fun factor" (need another car)

Maintenance costs are a bitch...

Distributor cap & rotor, spark plugs and wires need replacing at least every 2 years...

Not as gas efficient as my integra...

No trunk space for when im bringing home things from college...

Hard to find with low miles...

Most importantly, its scary....

Basically its an impractical car, I can deal with it because i'm a college student, but an adult would definately need a grocery getter or an SUV, especially if he has kids...

Having to constantly answer these questions:

"What is it?"

"Is it fast?"

they are a pita to work on, and if you don't work on it yourself, finding a mechanic who actually understands turbo's can be hard.

Trunk isn't really that bad. But yeah, 2 seats, can be a learning experience finding the handling limits.

I'd never trade it for anything in it's price range.
