Question 90 Sw20 3sge Mods?

Hi guys, I`m new in the forum. I recently bought a red 90`s SW20 N/A AT (3sge engine) cause its a great looking car and I`ve loved the model since I was very young and SW20 are very rare to find in my country. I was wondering what mods can me done for this car. Is it better to keep 3sge engine, change to MT and buy performance parts (is it possible to convert to a 3sgte?) or directly go to a 3rd gen 3sgte swap with ecu and manual transmition? what would you do on this case?

I really appreciate the help, because i really want to get the best for this project. (better if its cheaper hahahahah)

3sgte is the best way to go if you want to do a swap. Lots of aftermarket support for the 3sgte.

The only problem will be going from an AT to an MT. There are a lot of extra parts you need to buy. Won't be impossible, but might hurt your budget a bit.

Do a search. There are several write ups on the 3sgte swap.
For the tranny swap you will need:
Shifter and cables.
Clutch and brake pedals.
Clutch master.
Hydrolic lines with stays
Clutch slave
Tranny, clutch and flywheel.
Have I forgotten anything?
