GenII vs. GenIII question

Is there any way where a GenIII cylinder head could fit on a GenII? If it does is there any advantages or disadvantages?

Yes... it can be done. Advantage is that 3rd gen blocks are known for having thin cylinder walls that are prone to cracking. Plus you get every other advantage that comes with owning a 3rd gen =).
