Seems that in this wonderful state of Pennsylvania you need fully functional fog lights just to pass inspection, which is ridiculous. Bottom line, i need a LEFT fog light, the entire housing if possible. If anyone has one available i'd be happy to snag that off of you ASAP.
That is dumb...Those aren't easy to find. Try looking in the "For Sale" section of this forum. You might find it there. I have seen them on Ebay. The stealership wants WAY TOO MUCH for them. And there's always the salvage yard. Can you not just change the bulb? or is the whole thing just no good?
I hate to promote a different website but try joining MR2oc.com, the For Sale sections are bigger and specific to MR2s. You should be able to find one relatively easily.
you're not kidding haha. the cheapest i've found a SINGLE light was around $120. I need the entire thing, not just the bulb. Got my car about a week ago and didnt realize it was cracked and condensation snuck in. I could however just get a new lens to put back on the light but i'd rather a whole new sealed part. These things seem near impossible to find cheap
I know sometimes if the vehicle isn't equipped (ie just remove them temporarily) then it will pass inspection. Unless every vehicle up there has to have fog lights.

only problem is that this isn't your run of the mill inspection. i got this vehicle over state lines and it has a salvage title. so to register it in PA i have to have some type of *special* inspection. and after talking to my uncle, who is a mechanic, he told me that if the car was built with fog lights, they need to be on it and in working condition. so.. i fail haha
Thats sucks. How bad is the crack in the lense? There is a windshield repair kit that you can fix small cracks/chips with(I bought one from Walmart). I have actually used this myself. It makes the crack(s) disappear and it's permanent. It costs about $8.00. if you could use that along with a new bulb, maybe you can pass that way. Just an idea.
I'll give you my address, you can register it in Texas, I'll mail you the inspection sticker and the tags.
Just kidding.
hahaha, love the idea of that. However, i was recently helping my uncle out in his garage and found out he's friends with a toyota dealership manager. sooooo... i got the hook up. thanks to all that replied to this

i would have called the inspection station and asked about the fog lights and removing them before taking your uncles word for it.
