85 that hasn't been driven in 1.5-2 years. Picked it up for cheap and the guy said it ran when parked. Now though it isn't catching fuel it seems like. Replaced the fuel pump, new fuel filter, has spark, relays good, motor sounds strong when cranking, but no start. So I searched and found a thread in the archive about the ECM being replaced and fixed it. Also how the car will run with carb/stater fluid being shot into the throttle body. I was curious to know if anyone else had this problem and/or any diagnosis steps to get this beast on the road PLEASE...

today gave power directly to fuel pump and satrted car it wants to kick but it won't. So now to do some electrical testing inbetween the fuel pump to relay-to ecm-through the dignosis plug. Is there any other threads on this other than what I've read already?? Inputs apprecaited thanks.

check to ensure that the air flow meter is connected and there are NO tears in the plastic/rubber pipe between it and the throttle body..... the air flow meter opening will turn the FP on.

do a search, I've described how to check this stuff way too many times in great detail.

sorry dude I tried to search, not many things came up. I always like to search before posting. Well it turns out my buddy which I asked repeatedly if he had checked the fuses--ecckk'm--DIDN"T so it ended up being the 15 amp fuse blown to fuel injection if I remember right. Thanks for the input it's appreciated.
