Supercharger Mr2 Project 2.0

So there it is my almost finished project. I was put Zetec 2.0 engine with Eaton M62 supercharger in my MR2. I don know what is your apinion about that to put FORD in TOYOTA but i hope that you are be tolerant to this engine swap...

So let explain to you some technical info:

First sory for this size pictures but i cant change them

I was rased before with fiesta with same engine so i know this engine wery good but fiesta was not good for cornering and big speed and handlink so i made my desition to built MR2 with this engine. This engine is even smaller like 3sge and lighter to so i think it is smart to put it in this car.

i dont know how much power it is for now... mybe i do a test in a month.

Very interesting swap. Looks like it's going into a NA, which makes sense.

I'm guessing that the hp/tq numbers might be close to a stock MR2 Turbo, maybe a bit higher due to the internal engine work. I'm curious how it will run on the MegaSquirt.

It may have a Ford engine... but it's still got 5Zigen wheels so that makes it a MR2 (at least 50% of all gen2 MR2s have 5Zigens, it seems.)

Good job on the work! I've never seen that swap before.

Im back again and like to share with you a few upgrades on my car.
The first is KAAZ lsd in my tranny:




Then I built direct port nitrous system now set up to 130 shoot:


Rebuild dashboard with autometer (C2, lunar series ) and autostyle gauges:



And replace EATON M62 with bigger M90:

So there is a some of new things which i put it on my project. So i replaced my MSv2.2 with MS3.0 II. Car runs very smooth and withouth any problems.

Then i go try to how fast is car to KOE (King of Europe) race series where I win in stock street class with 12.30 ET. When i try to go under 12 i was broke my driveshaft...

There is more what is my plans to do in future. I bought brand new supercharger from Lysholm AX2300.

Hi,

I was on the brake for a while with modifying my car (I bought new AWD dynamometer)...
For my lysholm I like to get more interesting engine than old ford 2.0l ZETEC. I was thinking on 2GR-FE but the problem is that in Europe is almost impossible find this engine because Toyota doesn't sale cars with this engines here. So can you help me to get engine from anywhere else and send it to Europe?
One more questions I have for my toyota friends (i was looking on search but didn't find nothing but around 280WHP...):
- How much WHP or HP stock 2GR-FE can take with stock internals, good ECU mapping and PSI setup (I can do that...)?

Regarding the 2GR, trying to find that new of an engine is gonna be more difficult and more expensive. Your best bet is probably a wrecking car. Maybe start with car auction sites like http://www.copart.com
