Did you also get the intercooler, piping, and downpipe? This subject has been covered countless times. Do a simple search and you will find much info.

i have been reading up on turbocharging the 5sft engines. anyone think its worth it or will it just be cheaper to get the 3sgte swaped in?

I guess you mean the 5sfe. but It would be better to go with the 3sgte swap. Waaaay more aftermarket support and prolly cheaper in the long run. Of course, buying the turbo model to start with is the easiest thing.

Nah, the 3sgte block (iron) and internals are good to 400hp.

2 years ago (and bout 5k later), I blew my 5sfe after about 300k. I decided to go with a turbo swap rather than just sell the car and buy a turbo car. I even had an entire wrecked parts car to pick all the turbo pieces from for my swap. So if you are looking for a long term nightmare, by all means go for it!

A turbo Camry just doesn't sound like the most fun car in the world.
