after market stero help

my end connectors on my stock harness are cut off and i have been looking up many diagrams on how to connect my stock harness to an aftermarket stero and i cant get it to work. i have a 1991 mr2 and i have read online that you need to join the 2 power atenna wires together to a blue wire on the aftermarket stero. idk if thats true or not and i do not know the colors of the to attenna wires. if that dosent need to be done please give me some support on how i can get this to work. thank you

You need 3 wires from the factory harness: accessory, 12VDC+, ground

Then you also need wires for your speakers. I recommend only using the front speakers in a mk2. You can use the existing wiring (not sure what colors off hand) or you can run your own wire.

7 wires total and you should have sound coming out of the speakers.

EDIT: I was totally wrong about the colors... I didn't realize I had wires extending off my harness.

The colors are above. The "switched 12V" is your ignition. You need an antenna adapter if you have the diversity tuning antennas on your car, but most people I know with that car just add a Motorola standard short antenna in the front fender.
