Need 88 MR2 Interior Parts

Just joined the nation about an hour ago. Long time MR2 owner. Bought a new 86 MR2 and drove it 9 years until it was stolen. Bought an 88 from a junk yard 6 years ago and been restoring it since. Now it's mechanically perfect and needs a few interior parts. Anybody have a center radio bezel and ash tray in Blue or Black?. E-Mail is RGB57@Comcast.net

Welcome toThe Nation
Sorry to hear you got ripped off. I hate that. I don't know about the ashtray or radio bezel, but it would be great to see pics of what you've done to restore your 2.

O.K. I followed your lead and put a couple of pictures I used to get cheap collector car insurance. The next stage after getting my interior parts is an expensive trip to the Body Shop. http://www.cardomain.com/id/nj88mr2. I took a look at your car and it looks pretty sweet!

1.6 liter normal aspiration. Motor completely rebuilt to stock with 5K miles. 122K on the frame. New brakes, clutch, tires, struts, alternator, battery and whatever else it may need in the next 10 years. Never gonna sell it. My 11 year old son already has eyes on driving it to High School some day. I wish I had a bigger garage so I could buy another one. My wife hates the car, but, thats her problem!

I have an 87+ radio bezel (yes, they are different for pre 87) in blue... but I don't remember what shape it's in.... I should be in the garage today and if I remember (or can find it) i'll check it out....

Actually, time and money are the biggest issues concerning that. Between working too much and bills, I come up short on both .
