Hey guys I was having trouble finding a engine for my car, I have to get another 5sfe cause of my money issues at this time, and I need a car, so putting a n/a engine back in my car. Getting it put in for about $500 U.S, good deal?? Im choosing between 2 engines right now unless I find more.

But my question to all of u guys is, are there any turbos out there for the 5sfe, ive heard of some but nothing seems to be a solid good turbo, all shit that blows the engine. Well get back to me.. And when I get my car I'll post some pics...all i got is rims..hehe

The problem is not the turbos "out there" ... it is the engine.
The 5sfe was not designed to be turbocharged.

They arnt designed for it but what about some custom work done to make it work...Has anyone done it before?? If so post some links of pics and information..thanx

it has been done before ... several times, but the one that pops into my head readily is an MR2 built by Toyota/TRD of Burien (WA state) i don't have a link right now but if you do a regular search (MSN, Yahoo, whatever ...) you should find it.

i think they built it in around 1998-99 and i actually had the pleasure of seeing it in person ...
