Soon To Own An MR2

Hey all, I just have a quick question. Im hopefully going to be getting an MR2 within the next week or 2 and im lookin for body kits. Yeah I know, search for them myself, and I have, but all ive turned up with is crap so far. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find any GOOD bodykits, unliek the universal invader n crap that you see on civics and stuff. Thanks for any help you can give

The most respectable body kit there is for the MR2 is the TRD Widebody kit, none look better than that one, none cost as much either. If you really wanna look good, get that, if you wanna get a cheap kit, you shoulda got a civic.

The only 2 affordable kits i think look almost as good as a stock MR2 are the Bomex and Greddy... But you will find that most owners would not devalue their cars with body kits. Our cars are rare enough as they are...

Its a beautiful car stock, why dont you drive it around for a while first before you decide you want a body kit for it. Just about the only appearance mods you'll see MR2 owners do are the 94+ tails and the JDM or diamond clear corners in the front.

^ What he said... Bodykit's make the mr2 look far more modern if you pick up the right ones... A nice Border/bomex front end with Tom's sides + back..... And if you want a beautiful lip the Greddy 1 looks beautiful.... Try it see what you like I can give you lotsa pics+options...

MR2 Bodykits

Try out this site for MR2 bodykits.

http://www.mr-2.com/English/default.htm

Personally I like the standard rev5 looks with lowered suspension and 17 inch alloys. My rev3 is almost there just sourcing the boot spoiler.

Here in the UK we have too many speed ramps around the residential areas which makes body kits a bit unpractical.

Well yeah, I know the MR2 looks great as is, thats exactly why im buying one. But around here, im known to come out with some nice show/race cars, so im looking for a kit that will make the MR2 look as smooth as possible, not like wings sticking out everywhere and crap. And a widebody kit is soundin really good, but im having trouble finding pics of the TRD widebody, can anyone help me out?

TRD kit

It can be seen on the web site I posted earlier.
http://www.mr-2.com/English/default.htm
Look in the Toyota Racing Dev. [TRD] menu section. It takes a little time to load the site but it is worth waiting for as there must be every bodykit available on there.
