Will a ABS hub assem. Fit on non ABS car?

I have a 1993 turbo, and the wheel bearing is going bad, and I think the spindle is also bad. A buddy gave me a hub assem. from his ABS turbo MR2. Wanted to know if they are interchangable? Instead of spending $60 for a bearing, and $300 for a spindle from toyota, i was going to swap the whole assem. Will it work? The hub assem. I have has the bearing, and spindle in place so it would save me almost $400 in parts. Now I think his turbo MR2 is a 1991 if that matters?

Thanks

I think it will fit. Its just the ABS hub will have the ABS ring on it that the sensor reads (if the ABS MR2 is like most ABS vehicles). I dont see why it wouldn't fit. That would mean that Toyota would have to design 2 totally different hubs which would require different manufac. processes.

Or you could always compare yours to his.
