And the passenger in the truck in front of me, gets out and comes over to ask if they could take a picture of my MR2. She said her friend has had one or used to have one just like it and would cry if she saw the picture. I let her take it then got to eat my Jack In The Box.

I have owned several cars, none of which have gotten the attention that my MR2 does. Other MR2 owners in town look at it when I drive by, and I look at theirs too. Lol.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yep. I've had several people take pics of my 2. Ask a bunch of stupid questions,etc. Is it fast??? duh

Yup I havent had my 2 very long and already gotten a ton of stares and now that picture. I look forward to a lot more attention

sadly it draws the attention of guys as well. this dude was checking out my car in the drive throughinstead of taking my money... walking up to the coffee shop with some friends I get nice car bro.. WHERE ARE ALL THE LADY"S!!

i miss jack in the box... bacon and chedder potato wedges were the shit.

when i first got my car in SoCal... people used to come up to me asking me what year and when i said 91... they wouldn't believe me. they thought it was like a 2005.

the city i live in now is 80,000 people, and i think i have the only MR2 probably in the county.

Yeah, people find it hard to believe mine is a '91 too. The MR2 has a cool, timeless look.

yea its fast food.

they serve alot of everything. but they are the only fast food i kno of that does breakfast all day long.

this conversation is MR2 related... everytime i drove to Jack in the Box living in Cali was in my duece.

my wife has a modified 86/red/wingless aw11..... she can see it from where she works and just about any time an MR2 comes into the parking lot they park next to her..... she's also seen a few people take photos of it and also has had people come in asking for the owner of the MR2..... unfortunately my ae86 sr5 gets more attention
