Im trying to measure how warped my exhaust manifold is but Im not quite sure of something... I know I need to lay the straight edge corner to corner but there is that split in the middle that seperates the manifold surface. well, when i measure corner to corner on one of the halves, its within specs, but when I measure the whole thing it is out of specs (over 20mm). whats it suppose to be?

20mm ? Thats over 3/4 of an inch! Are you sure you don't mean .20mm or 2mm?
Maximum warpage=0.20mm or 0.0079in
I had a little warpage in mine. I had the machine shop resurface it flat. Works fine now. Only thing was it will bring the manifold "in" a little closer to the head. So the bolt hole in the turbocharger stay did not line up anymore. I bored out the bolt hole in the stay and then it bolted up fine.
