i just noticed there is not any egr equipment on this jdm motor that I am about to but in my us 91t. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna recieve some trouble codes when i plug in the us computer and it doesnt see any egr signals. my question is, what can i do about it? do i have to get a jdm comp or something?

I removed mine years ago, No cel and no issues. You may have an issue if you have to pass a emissions test. Don't know. We don't have those here.

yeah no EGR equipment = automatic fail.

You might want to get some off of one at a junkyard or off your old engine if you still have it.

do they fail you for just not having it or does it mess up your emisions

i passed with a jdm swap on 1 cat. the guy looked at the motor and couldn't find the cat! he asked if it was there and i said yep. he didn't want to look under there and didn't know they're supposed to have 2. got my sticker and left.

California is a bit different. You will NOT pass visual... but if you still have your primary cat... you will most likely pass sniffer.
