I have an 03 corolla, and I am seriously considering swapping a JDM 3sgte motor into my car. Mainly 2 things concern me. In your opinion, being that some of your cars may have this same engine, for smog purposes, wat is needed to make a JDM pass? EGR?.

Secondly, have you heard of anyone doing this swap? Or do you recommend/not recommend this being done?

yup, you'll need an EGR system, TWC, EVAP. you can either get a USDM intake manifold or I guess drill into your jdm one. and since the corolla didnt come with a 3's, you'll prolly need to go to the ref.(not sure).
