timing..

ok i did the dizy o-ring for my car i got the o-ring from a 90-91 celica same egine it work perfectly dont ask me why stupid toyota didnt carry the o-ring for the mr2 when they told me i had too buy the whole dizy. Anyways my question is when i was doing the timing for my car i for got too connect te1 and e1 together on the diagnosis box would tht fuck up my car or something on it, because as of now its still running good and smooth and rpm is like on 900 too like 1200 i think

You're fine. But I would say you need to adjust your idle to 800-900 rpm's after engine is warmed up.And then recheck your timing.
Timing should be 10 degrees BTDC @8-900 rpm's. You have 5 speed manual trans right?

how could i lower my rpms? they are flying and ive tried everthing . its idleing at 1500

Yea It When Down Too 800-900 Now But Mostly Stay 900 Yea 5 Ssp Manual..thx I Was Kind Of Woorried Becausse I Didnt Connect Those 2 Cables Together..

Wht Exactly Have U Down Too Ur Car Too Lower The Rpm

Adjust your idle with the idle screw on the throttle body, them do the cross connect
TE and TE1and then time it.

Alright Cool My Car Is Running Good Right But I Just Forgot Too Cross Connect Te1 With E1... But My Rpm Is Good The Timing I Didnt Check But It Runs Really Good And Dosent Lag It
