I think you'd need parts from the Celica AllTrac Turbo. It comes with a 3sgte

Your Celica probably has a 5SFE in it... should be a simple enough swap. People do 5SFE->3SGTE in the gen2s all the time. A couple things I think will come up:

I believe the MR2 transmission linkages bolt up on the "wrong" side of the transmission. You can modify a MR2 transmission housing to work by drilling and tapping a couple holes.

You'll need either the Celica GT-Four intercooler (nice top-mounted A2W setup) or do a custom FMIC setup. The MR2 sidemount intercooler won't fit.

The afore-mentioned Celica All-Trac GT-Four did come with a 3SGTE and 4WD. If you can find a front clip from one of them, snap it up quick. Otherwise, swap in a 3SGTE from a MR2.

If you get the option, but a MR2 rear clip. That will have all the sensors you need.

Are you planning on modifying the engine for higher power levels? If so, there are some things you'll want to consider before putting the engine in.

trans from a ST162 (i'm pretty sure that's the one we used...) works. 3SG-E Celica GT-S. the wiring harness you will want is kind of dependent on which 3SGT-E you will use. in your later post you mentioned V6...can't help you with that...haven't done it yet.
