Hi! New here.
I have a 2003 MR2 with factory alarm system. In the last year or so, when I park it at work, lock it and walk away, the panic alarm goes off. Even if I manually lock it and walk away, it goes off.
The same thing happens in certain other parking lots, but we've never been able to make it happen at home.
Dealer is stumped. Best guess is something to do with electric eye on power door openers or something.
Anyone have this problem? Or have any ideas what to try? Can the panic alarm be disabled?

Something in the area where you park at work may be triggering it. Some type of IR signal maybe.
