Well.... I reobtained (for the 3rd time) a car I built a long time ago.... this time with a blown 4agze. E series and MS still just as I left it in the car.....
also have an 87 t-top project that had an ae101 4agze converted n/a going turbo on MS with a C series...... after a long hard think and LOTS of work done on the t-top..... reluctantly I pulled the motor from the t-top for the hardtop.....
Decided things will be a tad different this time..... using all the s/c parts, but will be using different coilpacks, valve covers, and going to attempt an IC mounted not on the top of the motor (used to have ae101 configuration). Will also be using a C series from an 89 corolla GTS.
the t-top, with time, will get a 7age once I find a new 7afe that I can rob the crank from.... managed to spin a bearing in mine within 50 miles (being lazy and not plastigauging when putting together will do that.... lesson learned!)
