hey hows it going im looking too get the 3sg engine for my 91 mr2 i wanna swap out my engine for the 3sg engine but i dont know where i could get it from and from and for really cheap can anyone help me out on finding the 3sg engine please thank you.

3sgte is 2.0 turbo and 3sge is N/A

I think only the UK (and Austrailia-I think) had the 3sge. As far as tranny you CAN use the N/A tranny, but the Turbo-E153 has better gearing.

so i could use the same old 5sfe tranny for the 3sgte engine, cool saves me money unless i wanna get it overhaul,
does the Turbo-E153 is it stock to the 3sgte engine? and if its not what too i have to do my tranny

E153 is the stock 3sgte tranny. But the N/A transaxle bolts up to the 3sgte.

I Rather Get The 3sgte Engine With It For The Better Gearing How Much U Think I Could Get Both The Engine And The Tranny For?

You could buy an engine plus tranny used for $2000 if you search.

You can't use the same ECU (aka PCM). It is specific to the turbo model and there are different ECUs for USA versus Japan.

Modifier MR has a 3sgte in good , running condition for $700.00.I don't know if that includes the transaxle. I was looking for the post in the FS section, but couldn't find it(I'm at work too though).
I also think he lives in Maine, but may be willing to ship. Shoot him a PM and do a search in the FS section.Ya never know.
ASG14 has a RipMods Supercharger for the 5sfe for sale in the For Sale section. -if you're even interested in going that route.

i check it out nice turbo and all for 3 and half g's i rather just get the turbo engine
