my new 86

i just bought an 86 5 spd and i dont know what to do with it its a pretty fun car already but i was wonderin if i could get some ideas on stuff that you all did i dont know nothing about these cars and how easy are they to work on with the engine in the back area like that

For a mk1, I'd start off with modding the suspension. If you really want more power, save up for a 3SGTE swap from the mk2 turbo MR2.

They're difficult to work on compared to a lot of cars.

I've heard of the 4age (your engine) being turbo'd. They also came factory supercharged (4agze). You can swap in the 2nd gen MR2 engine that's factory turbo (3sgte). People have also swapped in V6's and V8's. All depends on how much money you want to spend.

Like mentioned, suspension is a good first step. I'd then move onto brakes. Get it ready to handle more power before you boost it.

so you wanna make fun on your 86 5 spd .it is good but i will suggest you to drive it smoothly which will be more enjoyable and will not give you any problem.
